Casting

I took the bronze casting class at Pratt Academy. In that we learned how to make lost wax molds and this technique opened many other project for me including concrete casting. The molds are made using a clay model which is coated with multipel layers of 100% silcone caulk supported by a plaster of paris cradle

This small tray is inspired by art noveau bronzes.

This lamp had to be caste in several sections and then brazed together.
