I am a seasoned developer and manager with 43 years of experience in the science education educational technology industry. I am able to develop a complete education program from the ground up. This includes client needs assessment, framework alignment, product definition, budgeting, grant and proposal writing, contracting, creative development, project management, testing, technology and platform selection, rollout, preparation of marketing materials, bid preparation, training and product maintenance. I have managed a creative group of up to 27 people working on multiple, time-critical projects. I have raised more than $12M in development funds through grants and joint ventures. Using a consistent content management system I was able to move high quality content from hundreds of products from Laserdisc format, to CD-ROM and finally to online delivery. I am expert in leveraging custom web services and open source learning content management systems for facilitating production and delivery of e-learning content. I have a wide expertise in most branches of science and a deep understanding of science pedagogy in the formal and informal domains, and from elementary to graduate and adult education.
